Go Figure! is an innovative multimedia resource consisting of a series of programs with supporting teachers guide and a CD-ROM game. Each of the eight programs can be used as an introduction or "refresher" to basic mathematics. The series is set in an abandoned school, Etna High, in the fictional city of Enigma, Ohio. The school was closed after its 500 students and staff mysteriously disappeared on June 13, 1966. Two high school students try to unravel the mystery. As they investigate the interior of the building, they encounter Pythagleo, the resident custodian who has been waiting over 30 years for the return of the students and staff. The weird happenings make an enticing backdrop to study numbers, lines, planes, measurement, algebra and more. In order to solve the mystery and bring back the missing students and teachers, your students must complete the CD-ROM game.
