NEOEA Day Workshop Demonstrates New Multimedia ProjectsFriday, Oct. 8 is NEOEA Day, and PBS 45 & 49's Department of Educational Services will present a special, one-time-only workshop called "New Multimedia Programs From PBS 45 & 49." We will demonstrate five of our new, locally produced multimedia packages ? designed by teachers for teachers ? to help illustrate ideas in the subject areas of math, science, social studies and technology: Masters of Gravity: Soap Box Derby Math & Science; Antarctica: 90 Degrees South; It's a Gas! Math & Science of the Blimp; One State-Many Nations: Native Americans in Ohio; and 108 Stitches: Physics in Baseball. At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to take back to their classrooms two of the packages (videos and teachers guides) from the five programs demonstrated.
