Introduction to the Internet (Evaluating and Organizing Internet Resources and Content) Explore methods of evaluating the different types of material available on the Internet and learn how to judge if it is appropriate for use in the classroom. Learners will look at some of the social and ethical issues that arise when students use material gleaned from the Internet. At the end of the course, they will critically evaluate the content of several Web sites.

The Computer as a Tool in Education (The Computer for Person Productivity) Educators invest a lot of time outside of the regular school day. This course illustrates ways to use that time more efficiently. Learners will explore tools specifically designed to help educators with administrative, managerial and planning tasks. Tools include grading programs, test and worksheet generators, word processors and programs for making timelines, graphs and maps.
