The PBS 45 & 49 Instructional Television schedule wraps up for the school year on Friday, May 10. On Monday, May 13 our summer children's programming schedule begins. While the current schedule remains the same, the stations will add broadcasts of Brian Jacques' Redwall weekdays at 10:30 am, Jay Jay the Jet Plane at 1 pm and Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese Cat at 1:30 pm.

For the complete children's schedule, visit our Web site at http://www.pbs4549.org.

PBS 45 & 49 resume 24-hour broadcast

PBS 45 & 49 will resume a 24-hour schedule beginning May 1, 2002.

The stations ceased 24-hour operations in 1992 during budget cuts and have remained off-air overnight for the past ten years. The recent installation of new transmitters, however, has brought station electricity costs down significantly, allowing us to resume 24-hour-a-day service.

During the overnight hours, PBS 45 & 49 will broadcast a combination of how-to programs and Adult Learning Service programs. For the complete schedule, visit our Web site at http://www.pbs4549.org.
