DoBubble MakersMany items can become bubble makers. Try using the following items to make new and interesting summer bubble fun!

Clean plastic fly swatter with lots of holes.

Cut the bottom off of a paper cup. Dip the large end in bubble solution and blow through the smaller end for bigger bubbles.

Dip one end of a toilet paper roll or paper towel tube into the bubble solution and blow through the other end.

                    Embroidery hoops.

                    Plastic berry baskets.

1/2 cup dish detergent (like Joy or Dawn) 5 cups water 2 tbsp. glycerine (available at pharmacies)
Combine dish detergent and water in a clean pan and stir (but don't shake!). Then stir in the glycerine (if you have any -- it tends to make the bubbles stronger). Making the bubble recipe a day in advance makes it stronger. For scented bubbles, add several drops of peppermint or lemon extract.
