Liberty’s Kids

Weekdays at 3 pm
Sundays at 7 am

Liberty’s Kids is a “revolutionary” children’s animated series that entertains 7- to 12-year-olds while introducing them to the exciting stories and people behind the birth of a nation.

Set in late 18th-century America, the program unfurls its historical stories through the eyes of two teenage apprentices, Sarah Phillips and James Hiller. The two work in Benjamin Franklin’s print shop and discover first-hand the great adventures of the American Revolution.

In each episode, Sarah and James meet the real heroes of late 18th-century America: revolutionary leaders such as George Washington, Patrick Henry and John Adams, as well as lesser-known beacons of the era like Phyillis Wheatley, a published poet despite being a slave.

Liberty’s Kids also tells the stories of important turning points in the American Revolution, such as the Boston Tea Party, Valley Forge, Paul Revere’s ride, the Battle of Yorktown, the First Continental Congress, Washington crossing the Delaware, the writing of the Declaration of Independence and many more.
