Sports and Games: An Interview with Harold Hall
by Justin

Justin: What was your favorite childhood game and why did you like it?

Mr. H: When I was a boy, we didn't have any organized sports like we have today like little league, baseball, soccer, peewee football and so on. We made up a lot of games. We would get a group to play softball, make up a group. We would play kick the can at night in the summertime or we went down into the fields and went fishing... those kinds of things.

What Justin learned from Mr. Hall:
I learned that they didn't have a lot of sports back then. And he was too little to play sports. All he could do was run track. They had to make up games and get lots of people to play. I learned that he thinks track is an individual sport. I learned that his name is Harold H. When he was young, they didn't have a lot of sports. There were no leagues when they were young. He doesn't think he would change his life looking back.
