This series ties geographic locations to events in history. Each program features an introduction to a geographic theme, which is linked to important historical events and topics. In this way, the series shows how knowledge of geography contributes to historical understanding. Geographic themes include location, natural characteristics, movement of people, regions and human/environment interaction.
