Helping students learn math and science is the goal of this new PBS 45 & 49 multimedia project. The Soap Box Derby, an activity that students find fun and interesting, will provide the framework for teachers to facilitate the application of concepts needed to prepare for Ohio's proficiency tests.

The video series follows two kids as they try their hand at building a Soap Box Derby car. Each video is a lesson starter that leads to hands-on CD-ROM, DVD and Web site activities.
