PBS 45 & 49's Community Workshop

Make the Switch to Digital Photography

If you are famous for leaving those rolls of film from vacation or family parties laying around undeveloped, it?s time to ?go digital!?

PBS 45 & 49 presents a new community workshop, Learn to Use Your Digital Camera ? and Leave With the Camera, on Saturday, Jan. 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The workshop costs $250 and includes a Canon 3.2 megapixel digital camera. It will be held at PBS 45 & 49, located at 1750 Campus Center Drive in Kent.

First offered as a workshop at the station?s Make It Myself! Expo this past fall, the class teaches how to operate a digital camera, how to take good pictures and what to do with the pictures afterward. The best part of the class is that participants take the camera home with them when the workshop is done.
