Kent State Job & Internship Fair, Thursday March 11, 2004. Held at the Kent State Student Center Ballroom, Kent OH. Attended by Don Freeman, Director of Programming and by Steve Balazs, IT Administrator.

Stark County Collegiate Job Fair, Wednesday March 17, 2004. Held at the KSU-Stark Professional Education & Conference Center, Canton OH. Attended by Carolyn Raley, Accounting Supervisor and by Ria Mastromatteo, Director of Educational Services.

Youngstown State University Spring Job Expo, Tuesday March 30, 2004. Held at the YSU Kilcawley Center, Youngstown OH. Attended by Don Freeman, Director of Programming and by Jeremiah Blaylock, Producer/Director of PBS 45 & 49 Youngstown programming.

Providing on-going internships to provide students with the skills needed for broadcast employment. Internships were provided in the areas of production/operations, information technology, and development.

We participate in general outreach efforts via our internet website.

PBS 45 & 49 encourages training programs designed to enable station personnel to acquire skills that would qualify them for higher positions.

PBS 45 & 49 has participated in providing information about broadcasting careers to students at Kent State University, Slippery Rock University, Marietta College, Westminster College, and local high schools, such as Cuyahoga Falls High School.

PBS 45 & 49 has participated in professional development at the Greater Cleveland Media Communications Association-International meeting.
